Since 2008, IVAA built IVAA’s Digital Information Center which consists of all IVAA’s archive in digital format. The main objective is to preserve those data, save them in the online network, and make a new classification system and also increase public’s facility in accessing and using IVAA’s data.
IVAA Online Archive is a program we build to accommodate all of IVAA’s documentation in the Internet. The first stage of building this Online Archive is now done and ready to be launched for public access internationally, with the web address http://ivaa-online.org/archive. We are launching this Online Archive with a multimedia data exhibition at Indonesian National Gallery, Hall C, 19 – 26 August 2009. The event’s title is iClick.IVAA: LAUNCHING OF IVAA ONLINE ARCHIVE & MULTIMEDIA DATA EXHIBITION.
Everyone is invited! Come and Click Us! IVAA Digital Information Center & Online Archive is a cooperation between IVAA with Ford Foundation and Hivos Regional Southeast Asia, and the launching occasion is also supported by Indonesian Art Foundation (YSRI) and Oei Hong Djien Museum.
